Raised by a good way

This speech called “why I don‘t use smart phone‘‘ is a very interesting and relevant talk by an 18 year old girl Ann Makosinski. This girl talked about the opportunities she was given, because she never had any cool and trendy things. The environment she grew up in made her the woman she is now – a genius inventor.

In the begginning of the speech Ann showed the audience her new filp-phone. It may sound weird because flip – phones are old fashioned but, she got that phone just about 4 months ago and suprisingly, that was her first phone. Ann was never considered a cool kid. She grew up by making her toys by herself, she never had any tendy things. In fact, her first toy was a box of transistors. Her parents wanted her to be creative and responsible. She always did her chores before going ouy yo play. Although, that seems a little bit harsh on a kid, she grew up to be a great human being. Today we know her as a “flashlight girl“ , a genis inventor, a young scientist and of course, the future of humanity. All these nicknames came from the way her parents raised her and that is spectacular.

It is considered, that,  nowadays, parents are raising their kids the wrong way. First of all, they let thei kids to do anything they want. That leads the children to behave like animals. They don‘t know “where is the line“ anymore. Secondly, parents want to give ther children the world and that of course is normal, thus, eventually, kids starts to not evaluate that and that is the point where children are becomming ungraceful and spoiled. Lastly, parents love their children so much that they can‘t see their wrong behaviour and unfortunatelly, parents can‘t fix that behaviour anymore. These days, kids are not afraid of adults anymore and that is our society‘s problem. To fix that parents should act more like Ann‘s parents, they should control their children more and definetelly encourage them to work for their desires.

In my opinion, the spreaker did an amazing job. The whike tune she was talking to the audience like it was a bunch of her friends. For that reason, this speech was interesting and very pleasant to listen to. The speech was also relevant and logival, she made me consider about mine pgone addiction. Her visuals also were sperb: photos and videos made the presentation more interesting, her mimics of the face and her gestures worked great with her talking. I thoroughly enjoyed this speech and I would strongly recommend it for all of those phone – addicted people. Maybe it will change their point of view on this problem.

If you give a little love you can get a little love of your own

Little things make us happy

„If you give a little love you can get a little love of your own“ is a very touching and teaching short films. This fascinating story is about love, humanity which is being missed these days. In this film people accidentally help each other to do little things in different situations.

The story begins from the wrong side. A young boy force against each argue, use the force against each other. When he sees a boy who is hurted, he helps him to standu p. Nountheless, then the goodness begins to spread. People help each other to avoid critical situations abd they do not care what kind of race you are.

The film is superb. It was created very professionally. There is no main characters because in different situations are different actors. Furthermore, there is no conversations in the film, only background music. Consequently, the actors work great and the directing is commendable because the story is understandable without words. The film is very realistic and teaching. Thus, I believe that audience will be fascinated.

I thoroughly recommend this short film. It made me consider that if you are good for other people, they will be the same for you. The life is too short for hatred, it is better to spread the godness. In my view, this short film is for all of us. Just watch it and you will understand the words of Robert Brault: „Enjoy the little things in life. For one day you will look back and realise they were big things.“

Competing success in young people lives

Nowadays young people are more motivated neither earlier times. According to this fact, one of the point doing influence is competing in different spheres of life. In my opinion, sense of competition encourages young people to strive.

First of all, these days the youth is more justified to reach their goals in the life. However, desire to achieve something and be successful person is increasing from family and school surroundings. For instance, the student is feeling the pressure and competition of superior learning from an early age, for this reason, subsequently the student is used to be more motivated and reach the highest purpose in his career.

Moreover, proving of teenagers competing improvement is the class and books of  becoming a leader tips fortune. Young people show willingly to establish different groups and movements testifying their purpose to become a leader. For example, the teenager is attending some class of  becoming a leader, according to this fact, he will feel competing power and achieve more than others.

Nevertheless, other people oppose that competing is not a mighty way to succeed in the life. It is contended that contemporary youth is goldbrick and disinterested do something due to the fact competing will not have any power to motivate young people.

In conclusion, I strongly believe that competition is one of the most important points for successful person and helps to achieve theirs life goals.

Is competing the best way to succeed?

Everyone desires to be successful. It is agreed that reaching success is hard and there is more than one way to do it. Some individuals believe that competing is the most effective way of reaching success and I strongly believe that it is true.

First of all, it is considered that competition makes young people wish to be better than anyone else in that sphere of life. Competing and comparing with more capable people motivates the youth to work harder and reach for their success harder.

Moreover, competing not only makes young people reach to pass others in skill and successfulness but it motivates them to push themselves and self-improve. By focusing on themselves some young individuals may find other spheres that they are good at. Self-improvement is the key to success and the sense of competition brings it.

However, not all young people like to compete. Some of them believe it is not fair comparing themselves with others, meanwhile many even do not like the sense of competition. It is possible that competition demotivates them making it even harder to succeed so they must try to find motivation elsewhere.

In the end, I believe competing is the best and the most effective way to succeed, despite the fact, that not everyone may find much motivation doing it. A sense of competition motivates most young people to improve and ultimately reach their goal.

Science against technologies

The speech of Ann Makosinski at TEDxTeen has caused me controversial feelings and also same opinion surings. Firstly, while I was watching I actually was thinking that she have a great mind and her idea of being so off technologies is superb. In addition, she is very brave for standing up and being different than others. Although, after the speech I realized that I am not so into it.

Ann Makosinski is now 18 years old. She uses a flip phone that she got only 4 months ago and it is her first phone. Her parents treated her differently than others. Girl has never got an already made up toy but was gifted a hot glue gun and could have made toys by herself. On and on her materials of making changed and Ann was making mature and hard science projects. As always in school she was held a science geek but it wasn‘t a bad thing for her. Girl kept living out of social life. Furthermore, after she visited Phillipines, she got to know a girl who couldn‘t learn because there was no electricity where she lived. That is the way that Ann came up with her first solid achievment – a flashlight that, works from the warmth of a hand. It was the invention that made her famous. Despite these facts the main message this girl is trying to make is that you should not spend time on phones because you can use saved time for creating. And that is the point that our opinion sides seperated.

In this type of question I could not answer proffesionally, or looking from medical perspective but I believe that these days a life without new technologies is unbelievable. At this point technology worlds is growing so quickly that life without it is unquestionable. I am conviced that if you will do research on internet pages, your projects can be done faster and easier. Although, you need to know how properly use and find information. Thus, I know a lot people who made great things only because of social media.

Third of all, I didn‘t really enjoyed watching her speak because of loud breathing and unpredictable body language.

To sum up, I would recommend watching her speech only to form your own opinion about Ann and her work. Perhaps you will see something I haven‘t.

Becoming a better person

This morning I had some time to watch a short film “If you give a little love you can get a little love of your own”. This short film is made of a lot of video clips and they were simply put together. At first, when I tried to find this film I actually found the song named the same and only when I started watching I realised that this song was used  for the soundtrack which was incredibly good.

The main message of the movie was to spread out the idea  of helping others to the whole world. The help for others will definitely not cost you anything just maybe someday you will need help?

I would not say that this movie actually has a normal plot. The movie shows a lot of people who are inspired to do good for the others and by starting to do it they inspire others so this circle, actually, never stops. All the characters are completely different persons but the way this film connects them makes you feel that only together people can make the world a better place.

I could personally say that I really enjoyed watching this film. It made me realise that I would like to try to become a better person. It even made all my feelings come out and I had to wipe my tears a few times. The absolute plus of the movie was that music and view together, it really motivates you from deep down. You just desire to stand up and start doing something good. The only minus that I came up with was the quality, although, I am pretty sure it is because of publisher.

Anyway, I would  thoroughly recommend this movie to all of my relatives and everybody else because it will inspire you to do better in the life. I would rate the concept 10/10 but quality sadly is worth not more than 5/10.

The future is clear

Here I am after a speech that inspired me to talk about global problems. I have watched an orator speech of Melati and Isabel Mijsen from Bali. These still really young girls have reached so much in their short period of living. Now, here they are speaking at TEDx global conference in London. In addition to this, I should say that it was the first time for me seeing kids in TEDx no matter how much of speeches I have seen.

The main message from young girls are to ban plastic bags. They came from an extraordinary island - Bali and they represent us the horrible side of it - pollution. The girls were trying to inspire not only government but also the whole world. In the speech the girls are telling a story how they came up with idea of promoting recycling and how was it rolling    out for them. Furthermore, they have talked about what they learned and reached.

Firstly, the girls presented their "Island of Gods”and how much it hurts to be destroying this amazing beauty of nature. Their campaign is called “Bye Bye Plastic Bags”. All the plastic waste goes to sky blue ocean, as they said, either being being burned or littered, what pollutes not only waters of Earth but also the air we breath. Consequently, they present problems they ran into , such as: governmental ignorance, knocking on doors for several days and many more. Luckily, the Green School of Bali, that girls are going to, are going international so more doors opened up as they started communicating with the governmental of United Nations. In the end the girls showed us the promise signed by gubernator of Bali, that from 2018 plastic bags are being banned from the island

Expressing my opinion in a case like this one is not hard at all. I personally have always supported the idea of cleaner Earth in the future and from now on I can give 100% that I will never use plastic bag again, despite the fact that I do not use it anyways. I believe, that the most important in the admiration of the girls. It really reflects on the way they are speaking. Everything they say goes straight from their heart what makes them unbelievably good orators. Thus, girls are superb, amazing persons and also really brave because not everybody can stand up against government. I would recommend to watch this speech because it is not only nice to hear but also motivational ant important to our minds.

Success in competition

These days competition plays a huge role in people‘s life. In my opinion, without competition people could not move forward and seek their goals.

Firstly, all people wish to be successfull. To seek it competition is inevitable. Feeling the sense of it young people are more motivated on doing something that will be useful for them. For instance, learning foreign languages are all ages beneficial and people know that they will use it someday. People could reach more in their future career if they would feel the motivation.

Secondly, according to the statistics, people who involve ourselves in different competitions, have more confidence. Additionally, young persons can secure their future that it will be more purposeful. For example, students who were doing sport and won the matches, often later achieve in the sport‘s industry.

Opponents of thiw view say, that competition often damage people inside. Huge desires could grow into wrong actions. For instance, making barriers for others if they have something better. Indeed, people sometimes are killed for it. Therefore, competitions are sometimes not healthy for anybody.

To sum up, I believe that competition between people could be successfull but it also could be a very risky thing.

An effective motivation

Nowadays there is often discussed how the competition affects youg people psyche. In my opinion, the sense of rivalry motivates the youth and increases success in different spheres of life.

Firstly, the wish to be the best stimulates you not to give up. It helps to keep your aims high and continue working on them. Nobody desires to be a loser so even if you fail once, you are trying one more time to reach the goal. It is the main key to every person‘s success.

Secondly, the competing helps to improve your skills. If you are good at something, you can work very hard and become the best in that sphere. Futhermore, you desire to prove to other people that you can be the winner. The youth care their family to be proud of them and the victory is like an award for all the efforts it took to be reached.

There are people who oppose that competition can bring the worst to the person. Unfortunately, some humans use illegal ways to achieve the victory. For this reason, friends become competitors on even enemies. Too strong wish to win can lead a person to break the rules of humanity and to take rude actions.

All in all, competition is a rude and effective motivation. In my view, it helps us find the best and become the greatest versions of ourselves.
