Public speaking contest
On the 7of February this year, in our school was the fifth Public Speaking Contest of English. In this event participated students who presented their speeches with the topic ‘Challenges empower’. The event hosts were students from the 10th grade: Erika Rukšnaitytė and Domantas Bukauskas. They handed nominations and won places for students.
The contest was very competitive and all the students were very great. Laurynas Mickus received the nomination of the rich vocabulary. Arevika Ambarcumian took the third place with the topic ‘War with my own body‘ and gave the nomination for the hard – hitting speach. Roberta Otaitė won the second place and her topic was 'Don‘t let your fears control you‘ and received the nomination for the most fluent speech. The winner of the contest was Emilija Petrauskaitė. Her speech was esecially touching, thrilling and even some people shed a tear. Emilija received the nomination for the perfect questions for opponents.
The first three won girls got a ticket to the second round of the public speaking. Best wishes and good luck for them!
